UK’s fastest growing holiday price comparison site to brand lorry fleet in new advertising initiative
icelolly.com has signed an agreement with DrivenMedia that will take Out Of Home advertising on the road throughout the next 13 months.
A fleet of branded lorries will travel the length and breadth of the UK to boost awareness of the icelolly brand and the fact that it delivers millions of holiday deals to customers across the UK every year. DrivenMedia, the company founded by Ed Hollands in February 2018 following an appearance on BBC2’s Dragon’s Den where he secured investment from Jenny Campbell, Founder and CEO of YourCash Europe, will be responsible for all logistics including dressing the fleet in bespoke livery.
The campaign will see the fleet circulate in key regions around the UK including Scotland, London, Southampton and Wales. Each lorry will be fully wrapped in icelolly’s colours incorporating the logo, with beach ball graphics and the names of some of the holiday price comparison website’s most popular holiday search destinations also featuring.
The UK’s major road network (including motorways) are some of the most densely populated networks in Europe, and with inevitable congestion increasing dwell time, it is anticipated that each truck will have over 55,000 opportunities to be seen per day according to Department for Transport data.
GPS will allow icelolly to collate statistics and track the impacts of the mobile OOH advertising, allowing the business to match search enquiries from locations where the truck has been circulating over specific time periods.
