Leading holiday comparison website icelolly.com has announced it will sponsor ITV’s You’ve Been Framed in 2017. The high profile sponsorship reflects a significant investment for the Leeds based travel price comparison site founded in 2005, who will also return to national TV advertising in January with their “Compare. Call. Save” campaign.
Running from 2nd January until September 2017, the sponsorship activity will showcase the icelolly.com brand to national viewing audiences across prime time TV and catch-up services, supported with a halo of digital marketing to capitalise on the brand awareness generated. The sponsorship campaign will reach nearly 40 million adults and forms part of the company’s efforts to increase brand awareness – currently at 41% and growing.
icelolly.com have a recent successful track record within this space including travel provider sponsorship of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in 2015 and Bang on the Money in 2016.
The new sponsorship coincides with the return of the company’s playful “Compare. Call. Save”. ad campaign which launches on Christmas Eve and will run until the end of January. The campaign is making the move to national screens for the first time in a sign of the growing ambition of the business, the campaign having previously been regionally targeted.
