The introduction of cruise holidays has proved smooth sailing for icelolly.com, the UK’s leading holiday price comparison website, with interest in cruise products rising by 20% year on year.
The success of the launch, which is part of a wider redevelopment strategy by icelolly.com, has been fuelled by partnerships with major cruise holidays agents such as Iglu Cruise, Vision Cruise and Cruise Kings.
icelolly.com will further cement its commitment to the cruise market when it returns to TV this month with an advertising campaign centred around its expanding cruise offering. Running from Boxing Day, the campaign marks the first time that icelolly.com has featured its cruise holiday comparison within its advertising activity.
Commenting on the cruise focus, Ross Matthews, Chief Marketing Officer at icelolly.com, said: “With over 20m visitors a year, icelolly.com is already well-known for package holidays. However, since launching this year, we’re now seeing strong visitor growth across our cruise comparison function, with searches and enquiries up 20% as compared to this time last year.”

icelolly.com is producing bespoke 30” and 10” adverts featuring the major cruise lines. The campaign runs from Boxing Day.
