icelolly.com has announced that Chris Webber has joined the business as Head of Marketplace. The creation of the new role follows a significant period of investment and innovative approach towards improving the breadth of choice and functionality of icelolly.com.
Chris joins icelolly from Mosquito, the Manchester-based Marketing and Advertising agency, having previously spent ten years at TravelZoo, most recently as a Senior Producer. Responsibilities included content and campaign producer for all airline and OTA accounts for the UK business; managing the business’s flight metasearch product; overseeing strategy for all marketing activity (PPC, SEO & content creation); and lead on commercial relationships with OTAs and airline partners.
In his new role, Chris will focus on developing the icelolly Search platform, both from an advertiser and customer perspective and work closely with the broader Commercial and Product teams. He will report directly into Ross Matthews, Chief Marketing Officer, icelolly.com.
